Seminars & team coaching
Work with a whole team at once: a seminar that settles one question in one or two days, or a team coaching engagement over several months for a group that needs to change how it works. Facilitated in English, French or Spanish.

Team coaching programme
A seminar settles a question in two days. Team coaching changes how a group works, over four to six months, in several sessions with real work between them. It goes at habits rather than at a single decision, which is what makes it hold once the coach has gone.
- Give the team a shared objective
- Give the work meaning and motivate the team
In a small Seychellois company or a resort management team, the people around the table have often worked together for years, and will go on doing so. That is a strength until a disagreement settles in. Then it stays, because nobody leaves and nobody reorganises it away: two departments that no longer cooperate, a leadership team that agrees in meetings and acts differently afterwards, a family business where the real decisions are taken outside the office.
These situations need the whole group in one room, with someone from outside the hierarchy and outside the community holding the process. On an island where the facilitator is usually someone's cousin, neighbour or former colleague, an external facilitator is not a luxury: it is often the only way people will speak freely.
Two formats exist. A seminar is one intensive session of one or two days, built around a question the team keeps avoiding. Team coaching runs over several sessions spread across months, with real work in between, to change how the group operates. In both cases the content comes from the team, and the session ends with decisions that someone owns. A purely recreational offsite is a good thing to organise, but it is not what we do.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a seminar and team coaching?
A seminar is one session of one or two days, focused on a question the team needs to settle. Team coaching is a sequence of sessions over several months, with work in between, and aims to change how the group functions rather than settle a single question.
Can a session be scheduled around the tourist high season?
Yes, and it should be. For hotels and tourism companies, sessions are usually planned in the quieter months, so that the whole team can attend and the intermediate sessions of a coaching engagement are not cancelled one by one.
How large can the group be?
Seminars work best with six to eighteen participants. Above that, not everyone can speak, which defeats the purpose. A larger group can be split into sub-groups, with a plenary session to bring the threads together.
What if the real problem is one person?
It happens, and a group session is rarely the right place to deal with it. When that is the situation, we say so and suggest individual coaching alongside or instead, rather than running a collective session everyone knows is aimed at one participant.
Where do the sessions take place?
Preferably away from your usual meeting room, because a change of setting changes how openly people speak. We do not provide the venue, but we advise on the kind of space the format needs.
