Seminars & team coaching
Team coaching programme
A seminar settles a question in two days. Team coaching changes how a group works, over four to six months, in several sessions with real work between them. It goes at habits rather than at a single decision, which is what makes it hold once the coach has gone.

What you will be able to do
- Give the team a shared objective
- Give the work meaning and motivate the team
- Strengthen team cohesion
Programme
Analysing your needs and objectives
- A meeting to identify expectations and objectives, including where possible the consultant proposed for the engagement
- It produces a tailored programme mixing group activities, themed workshops, tools and method where useful, and defined deliverables
The instruments we work with
- Knowing yourself to communicate better: instruments for understanding and adapting to others (Enneagram, MBTI, Process Communication, depending on the consultant's certification)
- Live 360°: the group reflecting each member's strengths and areas to work on, and the actions that follow
- Speed-meeting: a review of the quality of interpersonal relationships across the group
- Building managerial charters, and the rules and values the team will hold each other to
- A SWOT of how a department actually functions, with individual and collective action plans
- Defining a strategic vision for a department, a team or a company
What this coaching brings
Team coaching is collective support with tailored content, built around the sponsor’s objective, aimed at how the group works rather than at what it decides on the day.
It is the right format when the problem is a pattern: the same disagreement resurfacing, decisions that do not survive the corridor, a team that performs individually and not together.
Why the format suits Seychelles
Teams here are small, and people stay in each other’s company. A pattern that would dissipate in a large organisation persists, because the same six people are in the room every week and will be next year. That makes the multi-session format worth the time it costs: there is no reshuffle coming to solve it.
Seasonality matters too. Engagements are usually scheduled to start outside the peak, so that the sessions between are not cancelled one by one.
Questions about this training
How is this different from a seminar?
A seminar is a moment. Team coaching is a sequence: several sessions spread over four to six months, with the team doing real work between them. The aim is a change in how the group operates, which no single day can produce.
How long does an engagement run?
Typically four to six months. The sessions are spaced so that what is decided in one is tested in the real work before the next.
Can it run across Mahe, Praslin and La Digue?
Yes. Sessions can be held on one island with the team travelling in, or split, with some sessions online. Where the team is genuinely distributed, that is usually one of the things the coaching is there to address.
Who sets the objective?
The sponsor, at the start, in writing. Content is then built around that objective rather than taken off a shelf, and progress is reviewed against it.
